Cute Anime Chibi Poses

anime chibi poses drawing reference

When drawing chibi, remember there is often little to no difference between boy and girl chibi bodies. Being cute is universal. If you want to make it a boy or girl character, you should focus on the the hair and eyes. Though if you want to make the gender even clearer, you can add a little bust and hips to make sure people know it’s a girl.

Now go pick out a pose you like. You won’t improve unless you keep drawing!

Do you just need a reference because you’re not sure how a body part should look? Well, pick, choose, and study as you see fit.

Been staring at the paper and need inspiration? I try to collect only the best poses. I hope there’s one you like, but keep checking in, I add new poses often.

Also, as always, you can simply trace over these. Have no guilt or shame, because this site is a tool designed to help artists learn.

Don’t feel any pressure to credit the site for what you do with the poses, because this is here to be a tool to help artists learn. That being said, if you found this useful, why keep it to yourself? In other words, some other artist might like to know this exists. It benefits both of us, because the more attention this gets, the more attention I’ll give it, and the more poses I’ll post.

Now that’s enough of the details. Go find a pose you like and get drawing. Above all, practice does make perfect.
