WHO IS BROSATSU?

Howdy! I’m Brosatsu.

I’m a professional artist and designer with over a decade of experience drawing, designing, and illustrating everything you can think of.

In my career I’ve had the fortune of working on hundreds of contracts creating kids books, storyboards, mascots, ads, graphic design, creative writing, music, concept art, characters, video game assets, and just about anything else you can imagine. Some of my prouder moments include working on assets for multi-million dollar companies such as Lindt, Pepperidge Farms, and Campbell’s Soup Company (one of my favorites was getting to draw some promo art for the 2021 Ghostbusters movie).

Here’s some past work:

It was my own client work that lead to creating a library of poses so I could better serve clients – leading to the establishing of this website and all it’s associated projects.

These days, I’m focused on teaching new artists how to make the journey of becoming good at art easier and less stressful – and creating resources I wish I’d had when I started out. Currently in between contracts, I manage this site, Anime Reference Poses, as well as all things Brosatsu.

In my spare time you can usually find me noodling on guitar, looking at MTG cards, exercising, sunbathing, or playing WoW while listening to talks about spirituality, history, business, or something else lame.

tl;dr I teach artists about art, and am a giant nerd.
